Now that you understand the basics of accounting, you will learn how to use ratios to understand a business from the corporate finance perspective. You will go deeper into the types of financial statements, how they are used for decision-making, and the many different disclosures that are required.
You will also analyze financial statements from an accounting perspective. There is overlap between the fields, but each offers their own perspective.
