Most of the interviewees said that parents, workmates, pastors, and teachers had huge mentoring experiences in their life. However, parents, workmates and church leaders or pastors were the most influential in guiding and providing the best mentorship to the respondents.
What did these relationships mean to your life?

What did the mentors do right?
The mentors were able to adequately offer words of encouragement, and guidance and also provided better options to the career life and family life. Also, the mentors were at some time able to help with resources the respondents need such as money to boost their situations.
What do you wish they had done?
The mentees wished their mentors had begun giving these ideas and guidance early in life. They feel that the moment these mentors had chipped in most of the things had fallen apart and they all feel that these mentorships could have started early.
What would you want in a mentor now?
The respondents suggested that they would want a mentor whom they are free with and can talk about almost anything. In addition, a mentor is supposed to offer alternatives and also demonstrate in their life that they are good in the area they are offering mentorship.
Do you mentor other women and if so what does that look like?
Some claimed they offer mentorship to other women, especially in matters to do with marriage and business. However, they were not aware if this was the real mentorship of friendly exchange to help their buddies. Mentorship Interview to Three Women Discussion
If you have not had a formal mentoring relationship, to whom have you looked as a model for your life?
Most claimed that they sought mentorship from friends in non-formal ways to gain more exposure and stability about some issues affecting their lives.
Does the church you attend have a formalized mentoring program? If so, how long has it been operating?
The church emerged as an important part of mentorship to all respondents. They believed that the church had mentorship programs every year that include pastoral care and also from other church leadership.
Response to Observations
The interview with the three women was an important experience about mentorship and the significant roles of mentors in society. I believe that a mentors helps others overcome their difficult situations trough helping them psychologically. For instance, across these three interviews issues to do with marriage, careers and other life challenges were the most prominent areas of mentorship. This is because in everyday life people are struggling with different problems and when not effectively controlled they can affect one’s well-being, health and even trickle down to others who depend on them. In addition, I realized that mentors are busy people who dedicate their precious time to helping others who are desolate and seeking help. Thus, the mentees have to be dedicated and available at the set time to receive guidance and mentorship. Through the respondents, it was evident that mentorship offers stability and more insight into one’s life. Careers seemed to be among the most disturbing areas of their life and where they wanted guidance. In addition, they were concerned about the family and their marriages that were not working as they had expected. Through these experiences of the there women, I learned that women carry the biggest burden in society and there is a need for more mentors to nurture and provide more mentorship programs to women. I have learned that mentors help people reveal their weaknesses and begin to work on them for quality of life. For instance, when respondents talk to the mentors they can narrate their issues at work or family levels and this gives the mentor ability to diagnose their issues and offer the right decisions to their weaknesses. Also, mentors expects the respondents to be willing to work on their weaknesses using their strengths to achieve the best results. This is because, the work of the mentor is making a plan of recovery and stability, while the efforts of becoming better and having a quality of life entirely depend on the affected persons.
Through the interview I released that mentors aim at addressing only a few things and mostly one issue affecting an individual. Thus the respondents had to make priorities among their most challenging issues such that the most demanding one is addressed. Thus, through evaluating the different needs and desires the mentor is able to adequately offer solutions to the mentees and this greatly promotes the quality of their lives. In most cases, mentors can offer motivation and provide guidance, role modeling, and emotional support. For instance, in the case of career mentorship, the mentors are superb at exploring careers, making goals, identifying resources, and developing contacts. Through mentorship, the mentees are able to emerge strong and with determination to tackle the issues at hand. They are also able to start afresh with renewed vigor and motivation. Overall, mentorship programs have proved to be crucial for every person and society at large. Most of the troubles people are experiencing in their careers’ businesses and families can be resolved through having qualified mentors. Through mentorship people gain motivation, courage, and determination to face their problems head on without developing negative feelings.
