Assessment Task:
As a result of the positive feedback on the work you completed on business functions and skills from the Department for Business and Trade UK, they have requested that you prepare a report to further enhance their understanding of the world of work. In the report you are required to include the following areas:
- Introduction (5 marks)
- Explain the factors that motivate people to work and challenges that affect motivation to work. (30 Marks)
- Explain what is meant by recruitment and selection and discuss two different types of recruitment methods. (20 Marks)
- Discuss how positive factors at work can impact people. (20 Marks)
- Discuss how negative factors at work can impact people. (20 Marks)
- Conclusion (5 marks)
Declaration: At the end of the assessment, you should also include a declaration of any software tools including Generative AI (GAI) applications that you used in developing and completing the assessment.
Level 3 – It is expected that the Reference List will contain at least five sources. As a MINIMUM the Reference List should include three academic books.
