Case Review: Watch the movie, The Hate U Give. This touches on several different social issues including crime in the African American community, white privilege, addictions/drugs, violence, racial tensions, etc. Write a one-page reaction to this movie.
Clinical Research: Please look up information on self-care and come up with at least 3 techniques that are beneficial for self-care of social work professionals.
Reflection Journal: Please write a one-page reflection of the first month at CILO( Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc. ) and in school for this semester. There are no right or wrong answers and no specific focus areas – just write from your heart.
Disability Discrimination: Research at least 3 ways people with disabilities have been discriminated against and draft a psychoeducational flyer on one type of discrimination and how you plan to address it (please base your approach in reality – no firing laser beams from your eyes at discriminatory people/entities LOL!). Use Publisher, Powerpoint, Canva, or whatever your favorite design app is to create the flyer. Please save it in pdf format.
