2. Research what the law is in the state you live in regarding what specifically happens with your property/assets and children if you die without a will.
3. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
a. Specifically, how much difference would there be between dying with a will and without a will in the state in which you live? How is this different in at least 2 other countries?
b. How would you feel about the courts deciding who your children live with if you were to die without a will? Would you be more encouraged to get a will written if you didn’t have one? Why would you not get one?
c. What are some reasons why parents still don’t have wills even when they are knowledgeable that the courts will decide what happens to their children if the parents die at the same time?
