In order to get a hands-on experience concerning the impact of physical aging, you should interview four family members or friends from the following: 35–45 years old, 45–55 years old, 55–65 years old, and someone 66 or older, and ask them to respond to the following questions.
On a scale from 1 (worst) to 10 (best), how would you rate your overall physical ability? Compared to your young adult years, in what area have you experienced the most significant physical decline? Compared to your young adult years, in what area have you experienced the least amount of physical decline? Is there any type of physical activity that you perform better now than when you were younger? In no less than one page, summarize your findings and then analyze the responses to see if the patterns you found match the information presented in the text pp. 151-162 (8th ed); pp. 127-135 (10th ed).
Your paper should have an introductory paragraph and a concluding paragraph (a paragraph should be at least 3 or 4 sentences in length). Please compose your submission using a 10 to 12 point font and double-spaced with standard 1 inch margins (no handwritten or printed hard copy assignments will be accepted). A cover page should be attached that includes the title of the assignment; the student’s name and the course name/# (do not repeat this information in the assignment itself). Please also remember that all writing assignments will be evaluated according to accuracy, the degree of clarity of thought, detailed description, and insight, as well as correctness in spelling, grammar, and punctuation that is consistent with college-level writing.
