After reading the lesson chapters, respond to one of the two questions:
1. Most scholars argue that the Texas Revolution had multiple causes. What were the major causes of the revolution? Which factor do you think was the most responsible for the Texas Revolution?
2. What were the major differences between the presidencies of Sam Houston and Mirabeau B. Lamar? Which of the two was the more successful president? Why?
