When reviewing a research study, you must have the knowledge and skills to accurately read and interpret all parts.
This week the chair of the EBP committee has asked you to locate quantitative studies and to accurately identify and describe the various sections of the reports, including a visual table (evidence table). You will provide a summary of the findings including recommendations for your identified topic.
Select 3 new quantitative research articles that address your chosen topic.
Use the Evidence Table template to compile information from each of the 3 articles. Follow the instructions in the template.
Review the Evidence Table: Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing from Patient Safety and Quality: An Evidence-Based Handbook for Nurses as an example of the information required.
Write a 350-word summary of your Evidence Table and provide recommendations based on the evidence.
Add the 3 new articles to the annotated bibliography you started in Week 3. Each article should be relevant, credible, and appropriate for the topic. Each annotation should provide a summary of the main arguments, topics, and conclusions; and an evaluation of the strengths, weaknesses, reliability, and relevance to the research topic.
Compile your Evidence Table, summary with recommendations, and the annotated bibliography for submission.
