• Evaluate caring, compassionate, culturally competent, and evidence-based practices in the roles of the nurse using the nursing process to provide patient-centered care in a variety of healthcare settings.

The goal of this assignment is to describe one nursing practice issue/problem and how it can be addressed through patient-centered care of the individual, family, and community using evidence-based care that is compassionate and culturally competent.

Using the attached Nursing Process Table template document, describe how your identified nursing care issue/problem can be addressed for an individual, family, and community.  Provide a minimum of one citation within the table for each evidence-based intervention in Column 1. Please type directly into the table.

Column 1:  Describe one evidence-based nursing intervention for care of each group (the individual, family, and community) with citation. 

Column 2:  Describe how the EBP intervention reflects compassionate care for each group (the individual, family, and community) with citations optional.
