Discussion Board – Five Total Points Possible Each Discussion Board Week: To address all learning objectives as well as to further your communication and learning experience with peers there will be five opportunities to post academic and professional discussion related to the course. There are two parts to this assignment. Part one is your original Discussion Board Post which is a direct response to the questions/articles posed in the assigned week is due the Thursday of the assigned week. Part two is your response to another student’s original post which is due by Sunday of the assigned week. Discussion Boards will open 8:00am on the Monday of that week. Initial Discussion Board Postings are due Thursday that week by midnight as an independent post (e.g., Do not post your Discussion Questions by responded to another student’s post. Create a new post to answer your questions). Then, read each other’s comments/answers and respond with at least one additional post with your thoughts, reactions, personal experience, etc. Discussion Board responses to peers are due the Sunday (midnight) of the week assigned. Discussion Board responses are NOT the place to voice your personal frustrations or otherwise “soap box.” This is an opportunity for students from diverse occupational backgrounds to learn from one another.
Basic Requirements:
Students are expected to follow APA Publication 7 formatting and to reference sources when appropriate.
Discussion Board Posts: 2-page maximum with a minimum of two academic/professional references; Title Page and Abstract not required.
Discussion Board Responses: Incorporate references and citations as appropriate (but not required) with in a one-page maximum response.
